Beginning of the week saw preparation work done outside for the biodisk which arrived on Wednesday. Trench was also dug in readiness for NIE who will be connecting electricity on Monday 26th, hopefully. Oak doors and skirting arrived too.
Joiners arrived back on Thursday and built the porch over the front door and started getting ready for fitting of doors etc.
Ian and I started installation of alarm on Friday and managed to get PIR's installed and then headed to wholesaler to look for a good deal on carpets, underlay and gripper rods - still waiting for price.
Saturday and Sunday were busy days with Cheryl, Mark, Craig, Stephen (for a very short time!) and I pushing ahead with the painting. Our main aim was to get the hall, landing and atrium walls undercoated and ceilings finished. We achieved this and Mark even managed to get a 12 inch border of colour applied between the top of the wall and ceiling. I'm very grateful it was him at the top of the very, very tall ladder and not me!
